Cleaning Your Data with OpenRefine In-Person / Online
Do you do a lot of your work in spreadsheets? Is your data messy? Do you have to transform your data, or parse your data to make it usable? Come learn about the open source desktop application OpenRefine! OpenRefine can help you clean your messy data, convert values to other formats, normalize your data, and more! You are encouraged to bring your own machine and follow along! Instructions on how to set up OpenRefine will be sent to registrants ahead of the workshop. This workshop is provided by members of the UMass Amherst Libraries Data Working Group.
