Making Zotero Work for You: After You've Gotten Started IN PERSON SESSION

Making Zotero Work for You: After You've Gotten Started IN PERSON SESSION In-Person

You have Zotero installed and you've been using it for a bit but you feel like you're not getting the most out of it:

  • You can export sources from databases or save PDFs and add them but you're not sure how the browser plugin helps.
  • You find yourself going to your folder of PDFs or your Apple Books library because they're already organized just the way you want them and you're not sure Zotero can do it the same way.
  • You've used another citation management program in the past and can't make Zotero do this one thing the other program did that was really helpful.
  • You've tried using Zotero to write a paper but getting the citations placed and formatted just right is trickier than expected, or you're getting errors sometimes and you're not sure what they mean.

Come to this session with your questions and we'll go over how to get the most out of Zotero for your specific workflow. Attendees are encouraged to bring your own laptop or be prepared to share your screen over Zoom. Since what we cover will depend on questions asked, this is not the best session for those brand new to Zotero.
