We're embracing the spooky season with our second title of the semester!
We will be meeting to discuss 'The Legend of Sleepy Hollow,' a short story by Washington Irving. After our discussion, we will jump right into a 1980 film adaptation directed by Henning Schellerup. Due to the shorter length of Irving's work, we will use one meeting to discuss the story and the film.
The Page to Screen Club is a space for readers and movie buffs of all levels and interests to gather, connect, and have fun! It's the perfect place to explore new genres, revisit classic stories, and make some friends along the way. Drop in for one book or stay all semester long! Everyone is welcome to join at any time.
Please come expecting:
- Spoilers through each week's reading goal.
- No spoilers past the reading goal or for the screen adaptation.
- Be open minded to differing opinions.
- We want to hear from everyone, but don't feel pressured to talk.
