Sefardi Herbalism: An Introduction to Earth, Water and Plant-Based Folk Traditions of the Sefardim In-Person
Naomi Spector is a writer, educator, and herbalist. She will speak about her new book, Sefardi Herbalism: An Introduction to Earth, Water and Plant-Based Folk Traditions of the Sefardim; she also wrote The Jewish Book of Flowers. Naomi is a co-founder of bibi + ni and teaches courses on Jewish kitchen herbalism, amulets, end-of-life herbalism and more. She holds a Masters of Arts in Education from Tufts University.
Visit the Herb Library (Science and Engineering Library, in the Mass Aggie Seed Library space) after the talk.
*Sefardim are Jews from Iberia (Spain and Portugal) and their descendants.
