AI-Assisted Citation Tools: Research Rabbit, LitMaps, and Connected Papers Online

Research Rabbit, LitMaps, and Connected Papers are citation-based visual mapping tools that show citation and author networks. Using relevant articles you've already found, you can explore the articles that have been cited by those papers as well as the articles that are then citing them. It's a great way to find additional research you may have missed with traditional database researching!

Research Rabbit is mostly free, while LitMaps and Connected Papers have limited functionality for their free accounts. Once you’ve created collections, these tools will also suggest similar or relevant papers using AI, amongst other features.

Join us in this workshop to learn about these different tools, including what’s in them, features, search tips, and limitations. There will be time in the workshop to use one of these tools and ask questions about using the features, search results and more.
